Design
This knife set was designed to be colorful and help keep your food from getting cross contaminated. The knife design is simple, and the handle is comfortable to hold and slice with.
Performance
This knife set is made with professional quality stainless steel. This knife set won’t cut it when handling tougher cutting jobs, but the work great when slicing up vegetables, or cutting slices of bread. The non-stick coating is a nice feature to help cut through things without having them stick to the knife. Think of cutting things like onions. They always stick to the knife and interrupt your cutting, but with these knives they don’t!
Summary
We prefer a higher end knife set, however, for $16 they are well worth the price. We think that this is the perfect set for college age kids who live on their own, or for those on a very tight budget. These Cuisinart knives do come with a limited lifetime warranty, but it’ll cost you $10 S&H for any replacements or repairs. These knives are dishwasher safe and there is really no issue with rust because of the painted coating. Our biggest drawback with these knives is that the color does scratch off a little to easy for our liking, but you won’t find anything comparable in quality when you are talking about a knife set that costs $16.
